Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information pandoraavatarmap.com ("the site", "we", "us") collects, how it is used and the choices you have. Last updated: October 3, 2026.

The short version: we do not ask for an account, your name or your email address to use the site. Your map progress stays in your own browser. Like most websites, the site is delivered through a hosting provider that processes technical data, it uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, and it may show advertising from Google. Both use cookies as described below.

Information stored on your device

The map, location pages and checklist save the markers you tick, your filter choices and a few display preferences in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data is never sent to us and we cannot see it. You can delete it at any time with the Reset progress button on the map or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

If you use the progress code feature, the code is created and read entirely in your browser. Only you decide where to paste it.

Hosting and server logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it against abuse. We do not combine this data with anything else to identify you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how Cloudflare handles this data.

Advertising and cookies

The site may display ads served by Google AdSense to cover hosting and research costs. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or www.youronlinechoices.eu.

Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required by law, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used, through a consent message provided by Google or a certified consent platform.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how the site is used: which pages are popular, which maps and categories people open, and whether the site works well on different devices. This helps us decide which guides to improve next.

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<ID>) and collects information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the referring website, your browser, device type, screen size and approximate location (country or city). Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We only look at aggregated reports and do not use this data to identify you.

The data is processed by Google, which may transfer it to servers outside your country. You can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can stop Google Analytics from collecting data about you by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to external sites such as official Ubisoft pages or community resources. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites. Please read their privacy policies when you visit them.

Children's privacy

The site is a general-audience game guide. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not ask for any personal information to use the site, no account data about children is stored by us. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data about you and to object to certain processing. Apart from the emails you choose to send us, we do not keep personal data ourselves. Analytics and advertising data is pseudonymous and held by Google, and you can control it with the opt-out links above or by clearing your browser's cookies. For anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
